Facebook smears Google
In what is possibly the stupidest idea ever, Facebook launched a smear campaign against Google. It hired a PR firm to plant negative stories in the media. The stories were designed to elevate fears about Google’s privacy policies. Facebook has had its share of privacy problems so this move is just stupid and plants seeds in peoples minds about just what Facebook is doing over there. It’s like it’s being run by a bunch of 14 year olds. Oh ya, it is.
