NFL Computerized Game Predictor for Week 8

NFL Computerized Game Predictor for Week 8

Week 8 is upon us and there are a lot of story lines to follow. Will Brett play? Should he? Is Jon Kitna really going to start an NFL game in Dallas, or is someone messing with us? Will referees let the games be decided on the field this week? Those questions and more will be answered in a few short days. We are a little late this week with the picks, but here they are in plenty of time to get your slips in. There are a lot of games this week where the predictor and the spread are almost exact (within a half point), these are pick games over history they carry a 50/50 chance no matter how you bet.  So remember as always buyer beware…click here for picks

Week 8 NFL Computer Power Rankings

If you are a regular power ranking watcher, you can see how the Steelers and Jets have separated themselves from the pack at the top in terms of points. Teams 3-8 are almost interchangeable from week to week and this week we have a top ten newcomer with the Chiefs making an appearance at number nine, while the Super Bowl Champion Saints fall down to 14. Read on to find out where your favorite team sits in the Week 8 NFL power rankings

NFL Computerized Predictions for Week 7

We’re back for another week of picks and predictions. This is a crazy season and even through the horrors of a .500 straight up pick record, the predictor always pays off in the long run and in a 6-8 week straight up managed to go 8-6 ATS for a net gain. So for the year it is now at .500 straight up and  .554 ATS or the important number of +$212.50

This week will probably feature a ton of upsets again. It might be tough to pick the games, but it sure makes it fun to watch.

Last Weeks Record: 6-8 Straight Up 8-6 ATS (+120.00)
Year to Date: 37-37 Straight Up 41-33 ATS (+212.50 Net)

This is our fifth year and our overall record now stands at 676-407 (62.42%) Straight Up / 595-488. (54.94%) ATS Our total win based on 1 unit ($100.00): +$5487.50

Remember we do this for fun, so take it for what it is worth, especially early in the season. Remember we live in Nevada so it is legal for us to bet. If you live elsewhere this is just for giggles

Week 7 NFL Power Rankings

Week 7 Computerized NFL Power Rankings

Guess who is on top of the Week 7 power rakings? Here’s a clue: J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets. New York jumps over the Steelers and heads into the bye as the No. 1 team in the NFL. At 5-1, the Jets have won three road games and their only loss was by a point at home to Baltimore. They have earned the top spot in the Power Rankings the hard way. That takes nothing away from the Steelers who got Big Ben back last week with a tune up at home against Cleveland. This week gets tougher at Miami.

The AFC still rules the power rankings through 6 full NFL weeks. Is anyone from the NFC going to step up? The Saints look to be putting it together now so watch out above… Read more

NFL Computerized Predictor: Week 6

NFL Computerized Predictor: Week 6

We’re back for another week of picks and predictions. Another week beating the odds, and making Vegas look stupid… That’s the idea, anyway. But in this year of upsets and completely screwed spreads, it doesn’t always work out that way, but we keep plugging away anyway.

So far this year the underdogs have been kicking ass, that cannot hold up over a whole season though, so take it for what its worth. When we look at the league, dominant teams are not as dominant as they were and bad teams are not as bad as they were.  If you are betting the Lions are 1-4 and the Cowboys are 1-4 but the Lions are 4-1 ATS they are a lot better than they have been getting credit for, meanwhile the Cowboys just suck as they cant win at all.

That is a hint for this weeks games as Detroit is +10 against the Giants and in case you haven’t noticed, the Giants are not ten points better than anyone.

Then how does one bad team get to be 7 points better than another bad team, the battle of the Bay is Sunday and the 49ers are 7 point favorites. How is that even possible?

Just some food for thought as we get into this weeks predictor…
