Site of the Day: Remembering Pearl Harbor

World War II was a defining moment in American history. But America wasn’t even planning on joining. That changed on the morning of Dec. 7, 1941.

The Japanese launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. It killed 2,402 American military personnel. And it severely damaged America’s battleship fleet.

It is important that we as Americans never forget Pearl Harbor. Today’s sites explore the attack.
